On April 5 Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD) hosted an Open Doors Day for students of the Faculty of Law of I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU).
MKD partners David Dzidziguri and Victor Kipiani as well as lawyers Mariam Antia and Natalia Babakishvili were welcoming hosts in the firm’s office. In a friendly and informal atmosphere the partners acquainted students with development of legal practice over the last 15 years and the main challenges for the future. Moreover, they presented the history of "Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri"’s foundation, activities, values and traditions.
The partners and lawyers of the firm shared experience of the legal practice and gave practical recommendations on what future lawyers should consider to be successful. In particular, they stressed on the importance of gaining practical skills, basic knowledge of law-related areas (economics, finance), understanding client’s needs and focusing on his success, avoiding litigation.
At the end of the meeting students asked a number of questions relating to ways of solving specific problems that MKD lawyers apply while working on certain projects.
The guest of honor of the Open Doors Day – Irakli Burduli, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the TSU, welcomed MKD’s initiative of organizing such event, pointing out the importance of student’s live and regular communication with transactional lawyers.
David Dzidziguri and Victor Kipiani thanked all guests for their interest to the event and promised to follow this tradition in the future.
