Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri’s practice and lawyers recognized by Chambers Global and Chambers Europe 2015
The 2015 edition of Chambers Global and Chambers Europe legal directories have been published, and once again MKD and its team have received excellent reviews, proving the prominence of the firm’s expertise and strong performance in Georgia.
According to the research, MKD has maintained its position as a leader in providing legal advice on matters of General business law in Georgia and two firm’s partners have been recommended as leading individuals in this area.
We are delighted that MKD partner Victor Kipiani has once again been awarded with an honorary top-tier (Band 1) designation, representing the highest rank. Clients praise Mr Kipiani’s extensive experience of advising on the matters of business and contract law, project finance, capital markets, banking, energy, mineral resources, telecommunications and corporate law. Recently he led the team advising a range of high-profile international clients, including the Bank of New York Mellon, the European bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), an UAE investor and others.
Irakli Mgaloblishvili is another partner at MKD highly ranked in the Chambers Global legal guide’s 2015 edition. Predominantly focused on litigation and international arbitration matters, Mr Mgaloblishvili is also renowned by clients for advising in the areas of privatization and project finance, joint ventures and M&A. He has been recently acting as a legal counsel to a major foreign company on the acquisition of assets in Georgia and advising on two complex arbitration/court multi-jurisdictional proceedings in London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and Swiss Chambers’ Court of Arbitration and Mediation.
