Request for Expression of Interest (“EOI”) for the construction and development of the Anaklia New Deep Water Black Sea Port
August 6, 2014
The Government of Georgia is inviting local and international investors to show their interest in being involved in the construction and development of the Anaklia New Deep Water Black Sea Port in Georgia.
According to the government officials, a new port in Anaklia would enhance the turnover between Europe and Asia as well as logistics and industrial potential development of Georgia. After completion of the 7-stage development process, the Anaklia Port must reach capacity to handle a minimum of 100 million tons of cargo per annum. The strategic location and high capacity of cargo turnover provide opportunities for creating logistics services and hubs in the vicinity of the Anaklia Port.
The potential investors are requested to submit the EOI by no later than 1 October 2014.
