"Our embassies always celebrate Independence Day in special manner. So we decided to take this opportunuty - when all the important people would be present together - to tell them about Georgia's business climate - in particular - the real estate and tourism sector," Keti Bochorishvili, Director of the (GNIA) told Georgia Today. According to Bochorishvili, the GNIA was focused mostly on the development of hotel businesses inviting foreign companies to invest in this "promising field."...
On May 27, GNIA officials met with representatives of the hotel induatry in New Deli. Members of the Georgian delegation made a presentation on Georgia's current real-estate market and encouraged Indian investors to consider proposals of investing in tourism infrastructure.
The same day, the Ukraine hosted the Georgian Investment Conference organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the Georgian National Investment Agency, the Georgia-Ukraine Business Club, "Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri" (MKD) Law Firm, BG Capital and Rakia Georgia Free Industial Zone. Representatives of 60 leading Ukrainian companies and government were in attendance. The welcome speech at the conference was made by Archil Kekelia, First Deputy Economy Minister.
